Mental Health Paraprofessional

Job Description

This is a community based position. The paraprofessional will work in home, in schools and other community settings providing community support services. The paraprofessional will teach clients behavioral management skills and provide them community linkage. Telehealth delivery can be administered at the clients request.
Location for paraprofessional:
Paulding/Douglas/Cobb Bachelor's degree in the helping profession 2 years of community based mental health CSI services _____Maintain a caseload as assigned _____Conduct behavioral management and skills training with each client a minimum of 1 time per week _____Conduct new family orientation within 2 days of case approval _____Consult with referral agencies as needed _____Identify community linkage resources in preparation for discharge _____Attend treatment related court hearings _____Submit all progress notes timely _____Attend investigation reviews of serious incidents related to the consumers on your caseload as needed _____Participate in monthly case and chart reviews with the Clinical Director as needed _____Attend weekly/Monthly program meetings _____Submit crisis intervention documentation, if any, daily to the Clinical Director _____Ability to work non-traditional hours _____Basic computer skills _____Additional duties as assigned
