Job Summary Bright Stars Primary Learning Academy, seeking a passionate and dedicated experienced Assistant Ga Pre-K Teacher to join our vibrant and growing early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teacher in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a love of learning while ensuring each child's developmental needs are met. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional learning activities Support classroom management efforts to maintain a safe, organized, and positive learning environment for young children Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development Help with classroom setup, materials preparation, and maintaining educational resources to ensure a stimulating learning space Provide individualized support to children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or autism, fostering inclusive participation Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress and communicate developmental milestones to parents and guardians Assist in managing behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and consistent routines to promote respectful interactions Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles, including Montessori or other educational philosophies such as toddler care or preschool teaching methods Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members Technical proficiency with educational tools and resources relevant to early childhood classrooms Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is a plus Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team in a school environment that values diversity and inclusion Demonstrated commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing space for young learners Join us in shaping the future by supporting early childhood development through engaging lessons and compassionate care. Pay:
$16.25 - $17.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
