Job Description

We are looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Teacher Assistant to support our 1-year-old classroom. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with toddlers, thrives in a team environment, and is excited to help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing space for early learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Lead Teacher in daily classroom routines and activities Assist with diapering, feeding, and maintaining proper hygiene practices Engage with children through play, conversation, and hands-on activities Help create a warm, responsive, and safe classroom environment Assist with implementing lesson plans and age-appropriate activities Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets health and safety standards Supervise children at all times, ensuring active engagement and safety Communicate respectfully and professionally with team members and families
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry toddlers Ability to sit, bend, and move frequently between floor and standing positions Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Qualifications:
Experience working with young children preferred Passion for early childhood education and child development Ability to work well as part of a team Strong communication and positive attitude CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
