Position:
Two -Year- Old Assistant Teacher Regular duties and responsibilities include: Create and implement daily lesson plans that align with the developmental needs of Two-Year-Olds. Provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children to grow and learn. Must attend to the physical and emotional needs of the children including feeding, diapering, and comforting. Teach good habits, basic manners, and skills to the children. Encouraging the children to express themselves and engage in creative activities. Observe and document developmental progress of the children and communicate with parents/guardians regularly. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care and education. Maintain a clean and organized classroom. Follow all state and federal regulations regarding childcare and education. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in Two-Year-Old care and education. Utilizing technology to enhance instruction and create engaging lessons. Communicating with parents to inform them of their children's progress, including written, phone, or face to face conferencing as needed. Participating in meaningful professional development opportunities as coordinated by the CCS Administrative Team Attending, supporting, or sponsoring extracurricular activities as assigned Ability to work with a team to create lesson plans, instructional activities, and other learning experiences for Two-Year-Olds. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Administrative Team Physical requirements include: Sitting, standing, walking, bending, and reaching Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Ability to clearly communicate with students, parents, and staff Ability to travel to and from the workplace Required qualifications include: Belief in Jesus Christ and status as saved Christian in accordance with the Christian faith and the mission of CCS High School Diploma or higher in Early Education Ability to effectively communicate (written, oral) in standard English Preferred qualifications include: High School Education/date when graduated Previous experience in field/how many years Benefits include Competitive compensation for private schools in this area 401 K plan Health and medical plan Paid leave, along with breaks during the school year for holidays Tuition discounts for employees who enroll their children at CCS Free lunch prepared by a team of chefs. Reporting to the lead teacher, your role will involve assisting with lesson planning and classroom management, utilizing your core skills in communication and organization. Your educational experience will enhance your ability to connect with students and foster a positive learning atmosphere. With a focus on upper secondary education and English, you will contribute to the academic success and personal growth of each student, ensuring they are well-prepared for their future endeavors.
