Job Overview We are seeking enthusiastic Full and Part Time Preschool Assistant Teachers to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a positive, engaging classroom atmosphere that promotes learning, social skills, and emotional well-being. Your energy and dedication will help shape the foundational experiences of our young students, ensuring they feel safe, supported, and inspired every day. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math activities, and curriculum development tailored to preschool-aged children. Support classroom management by maintaining a structured environment conducive to learning and play. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, behavior management, and early childhood education principles. Work closely with children with diverse needs, including those with autism or disabilities, providing individualized support as needed. Help facilitate toddler care routines, including feeding, diapering, and nap times, ensuring health and safety standards are met. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians about children's progress and classroom activities. Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with educational materials aligned with Montessori or other curriculum frameworks. Skills Strong understanding of childhood development theories and early childhood education best practices. Experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings; private school experience is a plus. Knowledge of special education strategies and working with individuals with disabilities or autism. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, children, and families. Ability to manage classroom behavior positively while fostering an inclusive environment. Proficiency in lesson planning focused on literacy education, math concepts, and curriculum development. Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies relevant to preschool teaching. Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
