Community Support Instructor People Making Progress (PMP) a nonprofit in business since 1988, supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)who are actively engaged in their communities through work, volunteering, and recreational activities. Individuals stay active by volunteering, taking classes, and exploring learning opportunities at venues such as Zoo Atlanta, museums, and festivals.

IS THIS YOU?

MUST have experience taking adults with IDD to go and do. The instructors provide support and transportation in the community to adults with IDD. The instructors drive PMP minivans with 5-7 participants per day throughout Atlanta. The individuals may need support with hygiene and personal care. We are currently not serving anyone that uses a wheelchair or has major medical or behavioral needs. The participants are very active.

BUSY, on-your-feet job.

IT IS NOT

a desk or center-based job. Some days hot and some days cold, but every day is busy! All PMP employees must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and be able clear s drug test and background check. Look forward to hearing from you.
