Job Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Pre-K Assistant Teacher! In this dynamic role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster early childhood development, promote literacy and math skills, and ensure a positive classroom experience for every student. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers with lesson planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote literacy, math, and social-emotional skills. Support classroom management by helping maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for children. Engage with children through play, educational activities, and individualized support to foster their development and curiosity. Help supervise children during daily routines such as snack time, outdoor play, nap time, and transitions between activities. Collaborate with teachers to monitor each child's progress, behavior, and special needs, including those with disabilities or autism. Support classroom behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and emotional regulation. Communicate effectively with parents and team members to share updates on student progress and classroom events. Qualifications Experience working with young children in childcare, daycare, preschool teaching, or similar educational support roles. Knowledge of early childhood development principles, including literacy education, math fundamentals, and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with special education practices and working with children with disabilities or autism is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and students. Technical proficiency in classroom management tools or educational software is a plus. Prior classroom experience in private schools or Montessori settings is advantageous. Ability to work actively on your feet for extended periods while engaging children in various activities.
