Immediately Job Description The Humboldt CSD is looking for a High School English Language Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year. Position Summary The English Language (EL) Paraprofessional supports multilingual learners by assisting students in the classroom, translating instructional and school materials, and providing interpretation services for meetings and conferences. This position serves as a bridge between the school, families, and the community by promoting communication, connecting families with resources, and supporting student success. Key Responsibilities Provide classroom support to English Learner (EL) students through individual and small-group instruction. Assist students with language development and access to academic content. Translate school communications, instructional materials, and family paperwork. Interpret during parent-teacher conferences, meetings, and school events. Foster communication between school staff and multilingual families. Connect families with school and community resources. Support family engagement and help strengthen school-community partnerships. Qualifications High school diploma required; additional education preferred. Fluency in English and at least one additional language. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Experience working with students, families, or diverse communities preferred.
