Part-Time 3-Year-Old Teacher Assistant Happy Hearts Learning Center | Boise, Idaho Happy Hearts Learning Center is looking for a dependable, caring, and energetic Part-Time Teacher Assistant to join our 3-year-old classroom! We are looking for someone who truly loves working with children and wants to be here . Our ideal candidate is positive, reliable, patient, and ready to work as part of a team to create a classroom where every child feels safe, loved, supported, and excited to learn . Responsibilities As a Teacher Assistant, you will work closely with and follow the direction of the Lead Teacher to: Help teach and reinforce our daily curriculum and learning activities Assist with fun, age-appropriate arts & crafts and hands-on projects Support children with classroom routines, transitions, meals, bathroom needs, cleanup, and other daily activities Help maintain a clean, organized, welcoming, and safe classroom Supervise children carefully and prioritize their safety at all times Provide children with patience, encouragement, affection, and positive guidance Communicate professionally and positively with parents regarding their child's day Work alongside the Lead Teacher and other staff members as a supportive team player Follow Happy Hearts policies, classroom expectations, and safety procedures Be dependable and arrive ready to work for scheduled shifts What We're Looking For We want someone who: Loves children and genuinely enjoys working with them Is dependable, responsible, and someone our team can count on Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn Can take direction and follow the Lead Teacher's classroom plan Communicates well with parents, children, and coworkers Understands the importance of teamwork in a childcare environment Is patient, nurturing, attentive, and energetic Takes children's safety and well-being seriously Wants to be an active and dependable part of the Happy Hearts team Requirements Must have or be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification Must successfully complete the required background clearance/check Must be smoke-free and drug-free Must be reliable and able to consistently work scheduled hours Previous childcare or preschool experience is a plus, but we are willing to consider the right person who has a genuine heart for working with children Join the Happy Hearts Team!
