Our Mission Prodigy Prep Preschool is an elementary preparatory preschool with a student first approach. With our focus on safety, education, and building community, our prodigies will be given the tools to encompass our core values of respect, integrity, and self confidence . Overview PPP is expanding into our second location Fall of 2026! We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our educational team for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves engaging in lessons, implementing effective classroom management strategies, supporting the developmental needs of each child, and maintaining a clean and well organized classroom space. We provide a positive and supportive work culture, growth opportunities, and much more! Duties Assist with implementing age-appropriate lessons that promote literacy, math, and overall childhood development. Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere. Foster communication skills by encouraging children to express themselves verbally and through play. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual learning journey. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with diverse needs, including those with autism or other disabilities. Maintain a clean and organized building/classroom space conducive to learning. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices. Experience Experience working with preschool-aged children Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
Qualifications Certification:
Current Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certification (must be a fully in person course)
Current Idaho Department of Health and Welfare Enhanced Background Check Job Type:
Part-time Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
