Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking to add to our staff for the upcoming school year. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support our educational team in fostering a positive learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will assist in carrying out lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and providing individualized support to students. This role is essential in promoting effective communication between educators, students, and parents while contributing to the overall development of our students. Preference for students with availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Duties Assist in the execution of lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and organized environment conducive to learning. Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students. Facilitate communication between teachers and students, ensuring that all students understand the material being taught. Help deliver engaging curriculum activities that promote childhood development. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers regarding individual student needs. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities related to early childhood education. Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation. Prepare nutritious meals on occasion General cleaning required Qualifications Experience working with students in an educational or daycare setting is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is preferred. Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning techniques is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff. Ability to manage classroom dynamics and foster an inclusive environment for all learners. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. A background in early childhood education or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
