Job Description

Ambitions of Idaho is currently seeking Direct Support Staff, who are interested in having opportunities to work in the community and in our center, to work with adults with Developmental Disabilities who display challenging behaviors. This services is provided directly to adults to decrease challenging behaviors and increase skills in communication, socialization, self-direction, independence and integration. Job description ranges from assisting with community activities, completing daily living skills such as cooking, hygiene and interacting with peers. This position also requires staff to support the DDA Program as a Program Assistant. The Program Assistant is an Instruction and Support position whose job function is to assist program management in the delivery of Instruction and Support services. Primary responsibilities include coordinating and scheduling client program services; employee training and oversight; maintaining and updating participant and employee records, maintaining an overall organized service. The Program Assistant reports to the
Program Manager or Supervisor Additional Qualifications:
Excellent command of the English language with the ability to create and edit relevant material Have the ability to read, write, and implement programs Pass an Idaho State Criminal and background check Have a valid drivers license with current car insurance under your name Free of communicable diseases Meet training requirements in rule Clean driving record (no more than 3 traffic moving violations in a 3-year period)
