Addison District Office 222 John F Kennedy Drive Addison, IL 60101 Make a Difference in a Child's Life Becoming a substitute teacher is easier than you think. Kelly Education is hiring Substitute Teachers and Paraeducators to support Addison School District. This is a great opportunity to gain experience at the elementary, middle, or high school level. No prior classroom experience required. Minimum Requirements Substitute Teacher Bachelor's degree in any subject OR 90+ college credits and actively enrolled in an approved Illinois educator preparation program OR 60+ college credits (Short-Term Substitute License) Minimum Illinois Substitute Teaching LicenseLicensing support is available if you are not yet licensed. Responsibilities:
Responsibilities vary by role but may include: Assisting and supporting supervising teachers and school staff Leading instruction or assisting students with classroom assignments Encouraging participation and building student confidence Supporting students in developing independence and academic skills Substitute Teachers may also be referred to as substitute educators, guest teachers, or relief teachers. Paraeducators may also be known as paraprofessionals, 1:1 aides, instructional assistants, classroom assistants, education assistants, learning support assistants, or teaching assistants.
