KinderCare is seeking Assistant Teachers to support our Constitution KinderCare center in delivering high-quality early childhood education. In this on-site role, you'll help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where young children can explore, learn, and grow. Working closely with lead teachers, you'll assist with lesson activities, supervision, and daily routines, while modeling positive behavior and communication. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers with planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and lessons Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through daily interactions Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom and play environment Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, meals, and transitions Communicate positively with children, families, and team members Follow center policies, health, and safety regulations at all times Document child activities and support progress observations as directed by the lead teacher Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development Required Skills Child supervision Classroom management support Early childhood education support Activity planning assistance Health and safety practices Behavior guidance techniques Parent and family communication Observation and documentation of child progress Team collaboration Basic first aid and emergency response
