Full Job Description Introduction:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Toddler Teacher assistant to join our team and provide high-quality care and education to toddlers in our child care center. The Toddler Teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for toddlers, planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, and communicating with parents about their child's development and progress. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff.
Responsibilities:
Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for toddlers, including providing emotional and physical support Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of toddlers Communicate with parents about their child's development and progress, including providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or questions Follow all policies and procedures related to the care and education of toddlers, including adhering to safety protocols and maintaining accurate records Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care and education Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Toddler Teacher or in a similar role Early Childhood Education (ECE) degree or relevant state certification Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities for toddlers
