Get Directions Bensenville School District 2 is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 3rd Grade Instructional Aide to join our team at Tioga Elementary School. In this role, you will work closely with the classroom teacher and support staff to provide instructional and classroom assistance to third-grade students, helping them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally in a supportive and engaging learning environment. Description:

The 3rd Grade Instructional Aide will assist in a classroom setting under the supervision of a certified instructor. The aide will support the teacher with instructional activities, student supervision, classroom routines, and other responsibilities that contribute to a positive and productive learning environment. Other duties as assigned may include supervision of areas such as classrooms, washrooms, playgrounds, before and after school activities, cafeteria, library, hallways, and other instructional settings as determined by administration.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the classroom teacher with the daily instructional program and classroom activities. Provide instructional support to individual students or small groups as directed by the teacher. Assist with the preparation and organization of instructional materials. Assist with the supervision, escorting, and support of students as directed. Reinforce classroom expectations, routines, and positive student behavior. Assist the teacher with maintaining accurate records related to student progress and classroom activities. Support students in developing positive academic and social skills. Participate in staff development activities as directed by contract. Perform other duties as may be assigned by administration. Bilingual preferred. Hours 35 hours a week, 7 hours a day
