Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our educators in providing a nurturing and engaging environment for our students. Your primary responsibilities will be to assist in the care and education of young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality childcare and education to preschool-aged children in a daycare setting.
- Assist teachers in lesson planning, implementation, and assessment.
- Engage in play-based learning activities, encouraging social skills, creativity, and curiosity.
- Support the development of literacy, numeracy, and fine motor skills.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, ensuring the health and well-being of all students.
- Assist with daily routines, such as mealtime, naptime, and toileting.
- Provide first aid and infant care when needed.
- Build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and communicate effectively with parents.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the lead teacher or school administration.
Skills:
- High-School Diploma
- Experience working with students, preferably in early childhood education.
- Strong caregiving skills, with experience in childcare or nannying.
- Familiarity with infant care and first aid procedures.
- Ability to work effectively with children of various ages and abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to communicate with children, parents, and educators.
- Organizational and time management skills to ensure a smooth classroom environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Experience babysitting or working in a daycare setting is a plus.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$17.00- $19.
