Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in an inclusive school setting near Des Plaines, IL. This full-time paraprofessional position places you at the heart of elementary learning environments, providing essential assistance and making a daily impact in students academic journeys. This role involves working onsite alongside a dedicated team. Multiple openings are available to work one-on-one in instructional rooms with students requiring a blend of academic and functional support or as an inclusion paraprofessional supporting a general education classroom for grades K-5. Typical hours are 8:15 AM to approximately 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
Key Qualifications:
Hold an active Illinois Paraprofessional License. Experience supporting students with academic, functional, or behavioral needs. Comfortable working one-on-one as well as in inclusive environments with various grade levels. Willingness to assist with personal care and toileting if needed. Able to pass a comprehensive background check with no record issues. Availability and commitment through late May, 2027.
Core Responsibilities:
Provide personalized instructional and behavioral support to assigned students. Assist with daily classroom and individual routines, adapting to students who may have behavioral or self-care needs.
