Elburn, IL, 60119
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our team at our childcare center in Elburn, IL. The Assistant Teacher will work closely with the lead teacher to provide a nurturing and educational environment for young children.
Responsibilities:
Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities Supervise and engage with children during playtime and learning activities Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues Assist with meal and snack times
Skills:
Previous experience as an assistant childcare teacher Passion for working with young children Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team environment Basic knowledge of child development and early childhood education
