Cook/Teachers Aide

We are looking for a Cook/Teacher's Aide to join our team and provide support to teachers in the classroom. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication skills, a passion for helping children learn, enjoys cooking and an ability to think on their feet. Must have a High School Diploma and have or be willing to get Food Manager's Certification.

Responsibilities:

Cook meals and prepare snack for 15 children and teaching staff. Ensure children needing accommodations for medically based diets receive correct food. Honor cultural, religious and ethnic food preferences. Follow Health Department regulations. Track temps and meal changes daily. Assist teachers in classroom activities. Provide support to students in the classroom. Help maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
