Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Early Childhood Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, structured, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes early childhood development. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help ensure every child receives the attention, guidance, and educational support they need to thrive. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards and regulations. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment through behavior management techniques and classroom behavior oversight. Supervise children during activities, transitions, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety and engagement. Foster literacy and math skills through interactive activities, tutoring, and mentoring tailored to individual student needs. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Use educational technologies such as computers and other digital tools to enhance learning experiences. Maintain compliance with educational regulations and assist with classroom organization, proofreading of materials, and record keeping. Experience Prior experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and experience working with children with disabilities or autism is advantageous. Demonstrated classroom experience with behavior management strategies and classroom behavior oversight. Familiarity with special education practices, literacy education, math instruction, and early childhood curriculum standards. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and team members. Certification in first aid and CPR is required or willing to obtain upon hire.
