Job Description

KinderCare seeks Assistant Teachers for our Lisle College Road center to support high-quality early childhood education. In this role, you will help lead teachers implement engaging, age-appropriate activities, supervise children, and maintain a safe, nurturing classroom. You'll assist with daily routines, classroom organization, and positive behavior guidance while building strong relationships with families. Responsibilities Support lead teachers with daily classroom activities and routines Supervise children to ensure a safe, nurturing environment Assist in preparing and implementing age-appropriate lessons and activities Maintain clean, organized, and engaging learning spaces Communicate positively with children, families, and staff Support social, emotional, and cognitive development of children Follow health, safety, and licensing regulations Document observations and support assessments as directed by lead teachers Required Skills Child supervision and safety Classroom management support Early childhood education practices Lesson and activity support Observation and basic documentation Communication with children and families Basic behavior guidance Health, hygiene, and sanitation procedures Teamwork and collaboration Time management and reliability
