What You'll Do:
Provide academic, behavioral, and social support in classrooms Assist students individually or in small groups as guided by teachers or school staff Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom engagement Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as directed Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs Maintain an inclusive, safe, and respectful classroom environment
What You'll Need:
High school diploma or GED At least 18 years of age TB test (as required by district) Ability to stand, walk, and assist students with lifting if necessary Current clearances, or willingness to obtain them before starting
Preferred Experience:
Past work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care Experience with students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral concerns Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT protocols (helpful but not required) Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
