9685639-60564 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students within a dedicated self-contained program for the 2026/2027 school year. Two paraprofessional roles are available as backfills, beginning August 24th and continuing through June 3rd. Make a meaningful difference every day by assisting students with significant needs, including Autism, complex medical conditions, toileting support, and emerging behavioral challenges. Your compassion, patience, and commitment will play a vital part in fostering each students educational and personal growth.

Key Qualifications:

Prior experience as a paraprofessional or teachers aide, particularly in special education settings Comfort working with students who have significant learning, behavioral, or medical needs Ability to provide individualized attention and implement support plans as directed by lead educators and specialists Willingness to assist with personal care needs, including toileting and adaptive equipment Strong communication skills and a team-centered approach Reliability for a steady, full school day (7.25-hour shift with a 30-minute unpaid lunch) Commitment to the full academic year assignment

Primary Responsibilities:

Support students daily routines, instructional activities, and therapeutic interventions Assist with personal care, hygiene, and mobility as needed Implement behavior intervention strategies under guidance Document progress and collaborate closely with teachers and specialists Foster a safe, engaged, and nurturing classroom environment This position offers a highly structured setting where your efforts are both valued and essential.
