Job Description

Seeking dedicated Paraprofessionals for fulfilling full-time opportunities supporting students in elementary settings. This contract role provides a dynamic environment where compassion, adaptability, and skill make a genuine difference in the classroom every day. If you have prior experience supporting children with both academic and functional needs, and the ability to engage with students across all elementary grade levels, this is an excellent chance to further your career.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering 1:1 support for a 3rd-grade student in a semi self-contained instructional room, focusing on both functional and academic development. Providing 1:1 assistance to a kindergarten student who may display behavioral challenges. Serving as an inclusion paraprofessional, assisting general education classrooms from kindergarten through 5th grade. Maintaining a regular schedule from 8:15 am to approximately 3:30 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Assisting students with toileting as needed and being proactive with behavioral support.
Desired qualifications and experience:
Active Illinois Paraprofessional License required. Previous experience as a paraprofessional or similar support role in a school setting strongly preferred. Comfortable supporting students across a variety of ages and needs, including behavioral and functional. Willingness and ability to assist with toileting as needed. Must have a completely clear background check please disclose upfront if there is anything on record. Ability to reliably commute daily to the school site in Glendale Heights, IL. This position is available for immediate start and runs through the end of May 2027.
