Job Description

Exciting full-time opportunity available for a dedicated paraprofessional ready to support students within a dynamic instructional program. This contract role runs ASAP through May 24, 2027, offering a stable assignment at Winnebago Elementary. You'll work onsite near Naperville, IL, from 8:15 am to approximately 3:30 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day. As a paraprofessional in this role, youll primarily provide 1:1 assistance, but flexibility to help other students as needs arise is essential. Comfort with managing a range of behaviors and supporting toileting tasks when required will ensure you can assist effectively. Candidates should be at ease working across all grade levels.
Required Qualifications:
Active Illinois Paraprofessional License Experience supporting children in school settings, preferably with 1:1 assignments Ability to manage and redirect challenging behaviors with patience Comfortable assisting with toileting when necessary Fully clear background checkplease disclose upfront if there are any records of concern Willingness and ability to reliably commute onsite daily Flexibility to serve students of any age group within the elementary setting
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instructional and behavioral support within an inclusive classroom Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and school staff to facilitate student success Assist students with personal needs, including toileting, as required Contribute to a positive, supportive classroom environment for all learners Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold ethical standards Take the next step in your career supporting students in a welcoming educational environment.
