Job Description

About the role: Kumon of Orland Park-West is looking for a warm, patient Early Learner Assistant to work with our youngest students (ages ~3-6). You'll sit with children as they build focus, pencil control, and early learning routines, helping them develop confidence and independence one small step at a time. You'll also be a friendly point of contact for parents at pickup.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Reliable, warm, and patient with young children You'll be a great fit if you: Genuinely enjoy working with young children and have the patience to guide them gently Are warm, reliable, and comfortable creating a calm, encouraging environment Can hold a young child's attention and keep them on task with kindness Communicate professionally and warmly with parents Backgrounds we love (but don't require): Early childhood education, elementary education, child development, teaching, tutoring, paraprofessional or teacher's aide work, childcare or preschool experience, or an education major or student. If you're studying or have worked in any of these, we'd especially love to hear from you.
