We are hiring a primary teacher's aide looking to support every child's academic, social, and emotional development in alignment with Montessori principles. About Grow Learning Initiative Grow Montessori Academy is an Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) recognized program located at 660 N Hicks Rd Suite 110, Palatine, IL 60067. The school serves children from ages 3 to 14, providing multi-age, student-led learning environments that span primary and elementary educational programs. Description Primary Assistant Teacher (Montessori Teacher's Assistant) Palatine, IL We are seeking a Primary Guide at Grow Montessori Academy. We are a top-tier Montessori school supporting students from 3 to 15 years old. This role focuses on supporting the lead guide in our 3-6-year-old classroom, but additional duties may be required inside and outside of the classroom. We look to support every child's academic, social, and emotional development in alignment with Montessori principles. Key Responsibilities Support the children's entry to the classroom each morning. Show empathy, creativity, and the ability to face complex challenges while fostering a supportive environment. Support the children's efforts towards independence by assisting with clean-up and transitions. Communicate regularly with the lead guide regarding goals. Collaborate effectively with assistants, staff, and school leadership Qualifications Associate's degree in a related field Willingness to take an AMI Accredited Primary Orientation Course online.
