ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Other duties may be assigned Include but are not limited to the following Teaches 5-11 year olds sideline cheers, choreography & prepare them for end of season cheer performances Coaches the cheer squad in proper techniques to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Choreographs routines for cheer groups to enhance fan involvement at Youth Sports events. Attends all required meetings and trainings for professional development. Understands physical safety issues of each participant. Communicates with parents, participants, and coaches. Maintains accurate attendance/improvement records for each participant Sets up and tears down program area Exhibits patience, maturity, and dependability Perform additional duties as assigned by the site supervisor or head coach. Utilize the Rockford Park District's HRIS system for all HR and payroll-related requirements and to accurately clock in and out for all shifts. Critical Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
