This position centers around providing dedicated assistance to five highly active students, each assigned their own 1:1 paraprofessional. Key Qualifications:

Experience as a paraprofessional in school settings, especially with early elementary students Ability to engage and redirect very active children using positive and proactive strategies Patience, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset Strong communication skills with both students and educators Commitment to fostering a safe, welcoming, and structured classroom environment Reliability for the contracts schedule: 7:50am3:10pm, full school days

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support to assigned students, focusing on guidance, supervision, and encouragement throughout the day Assist students with classroom activities, transitions, and individualized instruction as directed by teaching staff Promote positive behaviors, social skills, and participation in classroom routines Support the classroom teacher in implementing lesson plans and differentiated activities Ensure the safety and well-being of your assigned student at all times Collaborate regularly with other paraprofessionals and school staff to maintain consistency for each child This opportunity allows you to play a vital, hands-on role in the educational journey of eager young learners.
