The Valley View Public School District is seeking an individual to fill an Instructional Aide position for the 2026-2027 school year.
JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for assisting the Teacher in a variety of semi-instructional tasks; to work primarily in a general education setting, providing support to the teacher; must be able to assist with communication, scheduling, modifications of curriculum with the ability to stand, stoop, bend and carry materials.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of curriculum materials and instructional techniques Initiative to follow through with assigned tasks Effective communication skills A physical exam and negative T.B. test are required Must have a Paraprofessional, Teaching or Substitute Teaching License registered with the Will County Office of Education
PAY SCALE AND BENEFIT DISCLOSURE
Salary is in accordance with the Paraprofessional Salary Schedule.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
: The Salary and work year is 182 days and is in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement between the Valley View Council and the Board of Education. A Physical exam and a negative Tuberculosis test are required. FLSA Non-Exempt.
