youth ages 5-21. The Paraeducator works under the direction of, and in accordance with, the classroom teacher(s) to plan, coordinate, and implement the assigned classroom program. Previous experience in a school setting is preferred. Applicant must be a dependable team player with a strong work ethic. Candidates must have a para-professional license issued by the ISBE or able to obtain one. Bachelors Degree is required. Prospective employees must be at least 21 years old, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and be able to maintain our clients confidentiality.
