World of Dreams is looking for an Assistant Teacher to join our Toddler/2's classroom and become part of the everyday moments that make early childhood so special. Our young children are busy discovering their independence, learning how to communicate their big feelings, making their first friendships, and figuring out how the world works. We're looking for someone who understands that sometimes learning happens during a planned activity—and sometimes it happens while sitting on the floor building a tower, helping a child put on their shoes, or celebrating because they finally did something "all by myself!" This Is More Than a Job As an Assistant Teacher, you'll be an important part of a classroom team that creates a safe, loving, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for young children. You'll help create a classroom where children feel secure enough to explore, supported enough to try new things, and encouraged to become more independent every day. You don't have to have every answer. You do need patience, a caring heart, a willingness to learn, and the ability to see the world through a young child's eyes. Who We're Looking For We want someone who genuinely enjoys being around young children and understands that working with toddlers and 2-year-olds takes patience, consistency, flexibility, and a whole lot of heart. You might be a great fit if you are someone who: Loves watching children learn and grow Can stay calm when the classroom gets busy Understands that challenging behavior is part of development Enjoys getting down on the floor and joining in the fun Can work positively as part of a teaching team Is dependable and takes pride in showing up for children Communicates well with coworkers and families Is willing to learn, grow, and become a stronger early childhood professional Experience in an early childhood setting is a plus, but we're also interested in finding the right person with the right heart and attitude.
