Job Description

KinderCare is seeking Assistant Teachers for our South Holland center to support high-quality early childhood education. In this role, you'll help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where children can explore, learn, and grow. Working closely with lead teachers, you'll assist with implementing age-appropriate curriculum, supervising children, and maintaining a clean, organized environment. You'll model positive interactions, support social-emotional development, and engage with families and teammates in a collaborative, inclusive culture with room for growth. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities. Supervise children to ensure a safe, nurturing classroom environment. Support social, emotional, and cognitive development through guided play and learning. Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards. Communicate effectively with staff and families as directed by lead teachers. Document attendance, incidents, and child progress as required. Participate in training and professional development opportunities. Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive, engaging learning environment.
