Teacher Assistant - Child Care Center K-Educate Daycare is a new child care center in Wheeling, IL, seeking a caring, reliable, and energetic Teacher Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and is interested in growing professionally in early childhood education.

Responsibilities include:

Assist the teacher with daily classroom activities and routines Supervise children and help maintain a safe, nurturing environment Participate in educational activities, play, art, music, outdoor activities, and mealtimes Help children with self-help skills and daily routines Support children's social and emotional development Assist with classroom preparation, organization, and cleanup Follow K-Educate Daycare policies and Illinois DCFS requirements Communicate professionally with teachers, parents, and other staff

Qualifications:

Experience working with young children preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate Reliable, patient, responsible, and caring Ability to work as part of a team Must meet applicable Illinois DCFS requirements Must be able to complete required background checks and training

Position:

Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week

Pay:

$17-$21 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
