Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children.

Responsibilities:

• Help develop and implement an age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of toddler-aged children
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and play
• Conduct activities that promote physical, cognitive, and creative development
• Monitor and document children's progress and behavior
• Collaborate with parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred, but students pursuing degrees are welcome.
• Proven experience in childcare, nannying, or babysitting
• Strong understanding of childhood development stages
• Excellent classroom management and behavior management skills
• Experience working with toddlers and infants is a plus

We are a small Montessori preschool with a tight-knit team of teachers looking to welcome more pleasant, charismatic and child-loving educators/caregivers. We are licensed by DCFS, so all requirements set forth by them must be met (background check, references, physical exam, vaccination status, initial training, continuing education, etc). Part-time and Full-time positions are possible. Some positions are available immediately; other positions are hiring for the new school year (starting mid-August 2026).
