Job Description
Summary As a Classroom Aide Floater, you will support teachers in managing classroom activities and fostering a positive learning environment for students. Your core skills in classroom management and experience working with children will be essential as you assist with daily tasks and engage with students. With a high school diploma or GED and classroom experience, you will contribute to the educational development of students, including those with special needs. Your ability to communicate effectively and adapt to various classroom settings will be vital in ensuring a smooth and productive educational experience. Hours For this position, you will work 20 hours a week, Monday through Thursday, with occasional Fridays. This position works 40 weeks a year. Essential Job Responsibilities This position will fill in for food aide vacancies, picking up and delivering food, and delivering supplies to all classrooms. Education Requirements High School Diploma/GED required. Experience as a volunteer in the Head Start classroom would be helpful. Pay This position starts at $13.99 an hour. After the successful completion of your 120-day introductory period, you could receive up to a $ 0.50 raise.
