Skills Experience working with children in early childhood education settings, including preschool or toddler care environments. Knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques. Familiarity with special education practices, including Deaf education, working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and understanding IEP processes. Proficiency in literacy education, math instruction, behavior management strategies, and lesson planning tailored for young learners. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members from diverse backgrounds. Ability to adapt teaching methods for children with disabilities or special needs using inclusive practices like Montessori or other specialized approaches. Prior experience in private school settings or classrooms focused on special education is highly desirable.
