Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher Assistant to support early childhood education for children aged 2 to 3.5 years old. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with developmental milestones and curriculum standards for toddlers. Support children's emotional, social, and physical development through attentive supervision and positive interactions. Help maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Supervise children during activities such as playtime, meals, nap time, and outdoor recess to ensure safety at all times. Support children with their individual needs, including diapering, potty training, and basic personal care routines. Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, behaviors, and any concerns in a professional manner. Follow all safety protocols including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures; respond promptly to emergencies or incidents. Assist with classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior and social skills among children. Requirements Prior experience working with young children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying or similar environments. Knowledge of child development instruction and early childhood education principles. Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare. Strong communication skills for parent interaction and teamwork with staff members. Ability to supervise children attentively while maintaining a lively and engaging atmosphere. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
