About Us At VIP Kinder College, we believe that the earliest years of a child's life are the most important. We are a PTQ Level 4 and NECPA accredited early childhood education organization with three locations in
Terre Haute, Indiana:
VIP Kinder College East, VIP Kinder College South, and Little Step. Our mission is to partner with parents to nourish the natural curiosity in the youngest learners through a hands-on, relationship-centered learning environment. We are looking for passionate, dedicated individuals to join our team and help us continue delivering an exceptional early education experience to our VIP families. Position Overview As an Early Childhood Assistant Teacher, you will work alongside our lead educators to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years. You will play a hands-on role in supporting daily lessons, routines, and the overall well-being of each child in your care. Key Responsibilities Support lead teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate, hands-on learning activities Build warm, consistent relationships with children and their families Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment Assist with daily routines including meals, nap time, and transitions Observe and document child progress and communicate effectively with lead teachers Uphold VIP Kinder College's standards, policies, and accreditation requirements Actively participate in staff training and professional development opportunities Qualifications A genuine passion for working with young children (ages 6 weeks through preschool) High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred Prior experience in a childcare or early education setting is a plus Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Must be able to pass a background check Why Join VIP Kinder College?
