Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Infant Toddler Teacher Assistant to join our early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers. Your primary focus will be on assisting with daily care routines, fostering developmental growth, and ensuring positive interactions with young children and their families. This paid position offers an opportunity to contribute to the foundational stages of children's learning and development. Responsibilities Assist with infant care routines including feeding, diapering, and comforting to promote a secure environment. Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that encourage early childhood development and learning. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety at all times. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences. Support the implementation of early childhood education principles to foster curiosity and developmental milestones. Participate in ongoing training related to childhood development, first aid, CPR, and other relevant areas. Pass a drug screening and background check as part of the employment process. Requirements Experience working in a daycare center or with young children is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development and early childhood education practices. Ability to provide child supervision with patience and attentiveness. First aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire. Strong communication skills for parent interactions and team collaboration. Teaching experience with young children is advantageous. Must pass a drug screen and background check prior to employment.
