SCHEDULE

Full Time; 7 hrs. / day; 186 paid days / year; Follows school calendar This position will remain posted until filled. All qualified and interested applicants are encouraged to apply.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides instructional support to individual students or small groups under the direction of a supervising teacher Collaborates with teachers and staff to enhance students' educational experience Implements students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as directed Other duties as assigned

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education, Training, and Experience Required:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required Minimum Education Requirement (one of the following): Completion of at least two years (60 course credits) of college-level coursework An associate degree or higher A passing score on the ParaPro Assessment Prior experience in schools or child care Previous experience working with individuals with special needs

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics:

Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, parents, and other professionals Excellent dependability and punctuality Positive and enthusiastic attitude

WORKING CONDITIONS
