Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Job Description

Minimum Age Requirement:
18 years old
Responsibilities:
  • Participate in age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
  • Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and naptime
  • Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress
  • Monitor and ensure the safety of all children in the daycare facility
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment
  • Collaborate with other daycare staff to plan and coordinate events and activities
Skills:
  • First Aid/CPR certification to ensure the safety of children in case of emergencies (we setup your training)
  • Experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children (encouraged, not required), providing age-appropriate care and education
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and practices
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and fellow staff members
  • Ability to manage a classroom setting, including behavior management techniques
  • Previous experience in babysitting, nannying, or caregiving roles is highly beneficial
