A Teacher Assistant assists classroom teachers by providing extra individual attention and instruction to students. Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Job Description
Minimum Age Requirement:
18 years oldResponsibilities:
- Participate in age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress
- Monitor and ensure the safety of all children in the daycare facility
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to plan and coordinate events and activities
Skills:
- First Aid/CPR certification to ensure the safety of children in case of emergencies (we setup your training)
- Experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children (encouraged, not required), providing age-appropriate care and education
- Strong understanding of child development principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and fellow staff members
- Ability to manage a classroom setting, including behavior management techniques
- Previous experience in babysitting, nannying, or caregiving roles is highly beneficial
