Job Description
Goddard Public Schools is seeking a Paraprofessional to assist students in the classroom. This position is 35 hours per week . Position Overview The Paraprofessional works under the direction of certified staff to support student learning and classroom activities. This role involves assisting with instruction, reinforcing skills, and helping maintain a positive and productive learning environment. Qualifications Previous educational experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities Patient, dependable, and team-oriented Responsibilities Assist teachers with classroom instruction and activities Provide support to individual students or small groups Help reinforce academic and behavioral expectations Prepare instructional materials as directed Monitor student progress and assist with classroom management Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment For questions regarding this position, please contact Brad McCormick building principal at Cheney Elementary at bmccormick@usd268.org or (316) 542-3137 Position open until filled.
