Who are we? Little Leaders of GCK Early Learning Center located in Garden City, KS is currently seeking energetic, caring individuals to fill teacher positions at our center. Little Leaders is a non-profit, center-based daycare with a mission to make a difference in the lives of children and their families by providing excellence in childcare. Our staff pursues the goal of nurturing individual children while helping them build on development of skills and knowledge that will lead them to be successful once they enter into a formal education setting. What are we looking for? Little Leaders is seeking full-time and part-time Teachers for all ages! We are looking for candidates who have an excellent work ethic, heart for children, and a willingness to learn more about early childhood education. Experience and/or education is a plus - but we will train the right candidate . 'Day in the life': Supervising and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children at all times Following predetermined curriculum and daily schedule Decorating the class and keeping classrooms clean and orderly Creating and filling out daily reports for children individually Communication with parents (answering phone calls, beginning/end of day questions, communicating via apps) Meeting children's basic needs (diapers, bottles, etc.) Interacting with children (playing on the floor or on playground, family-style mealtimes, etc.) Following required State and/or Federal guidelines required by facility licensing What do we require? No previous childcare experience needed, we're willing to train, however previous childcare backgrounds are a plus Eligible applicants must be at least 16 years of age High School diploma or equivalent preferred CPR and First Aid certifications preferred Reliable transportation to and from work Pass background checks
