Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a caring, energetic, and patient Assistant Toddler Teacher to support our toddler classroom. In this role, you will help provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for toddlers aged 12-36 months. You'll work closely with the Lead Teacher to implement lesson plans, foster social-emotional growth, and assist in daily routines such as meals, diapering, and rest time.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Lead Teacher in implementing daily activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Supervise and engage toddlers in age-appropriate play and learning experiences. Help with diapering, potty training, feeding, and maintaining hygiene standards. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment. Observe and document children's progress and behavior to support assessments and parent communication. Assist with classroom setup, cleanup, and organization. Communicate effectively and compassionately with children, parents, and staff. Attend required trainings and staff meetings. Follow all licensing regulations and center policies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Experience working with young children (especially toddlers) preferred. Ability to lift 40 lbs, sit on the floor, and engage in physical play. Patience, reliability, and a love for working with children. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Why Join Us? Pay:
$11.00 - $13.00 per hour
