This role is ideal for a tech-savvy SPED paraprofessional ready to support students' online learning experiences. Based near Olathe, KS, you'll play a pivotal part in connecting SPED students with the technology they need to succeed, serving various schools within the area.
Key Qualifications:
Experience as a school paraprofessional, ideally supporting SPED (Special Education) Confident troubleshooting devices, software, and common connectivity issues Positive communicator who can calmly resolve technical challenges with students and staff Quick to adapt to new tech platforms and troubleshoot on-the-go Comfortable "floating" between school sites as needs arise Collaborative spirit, ensuring strong partnerships with educators and IT teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Partner with multiple schools to set up and maintain technology for SPED students Guide students in accessing and navigating virtual learning platforms Proactively troubleshoot and resolve basic tech issues—getting students back online quickly and efficiently Maintain clear communication with teachers, staff, and families to report issues and track progress Support overall accessibility, ensuring educational equity for students with special needs This full-time contract runs ASAP through the end of the school year, Monday through Friday, covering 37.5 hours weekly. Compensation aligns with your paraprofessional experience, with rates starting at $24/hr for those with 0-3 years, $28/hr for 4-6 years, and $32/hr for 7+ years.
