Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher and One Year Old Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers, fostering their developmental growth through engaging activities and personalized care. You will work closely with lead teachers to implement curriculum plans, monitor individual progress, and ensure every child's needs are met with compassion and professionalism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children's lives while developing your skills in early childhood education. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for infants and one-year-olds, ensuring their safety at all times Implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting learning environment Assist lead teachers in preparing materials, setting up learning stations, and documenting children's progress Communicate regularly with parents about their child's milestones, behaviors, and daily experiences to foster strong relationships Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure a secure environment Support inclusive practices by working with children with special needs or disabilities using appropriate strategies and interventions Qualifications Prior experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR (pediatric first aid preferred) Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child safety regulations Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration Ability to manage classroom behavior with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Passion for nurturing young children's growth and curiosity in a caring environment Join our team to help shape the future by providing exceptional care and early learning experiences! Pay:
$10.00 - $12.00 per hour
