In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for young children aged one to two years. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster early development, encourage curiosity, and promote positive social interactions. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of toddlers Supervise children closely to ensure their safety and well-being at all times during indoor and outdoor activities Support children with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and personal hygiene with patience and care Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being promptly Skills Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid is preferred Strong classroom management skills combined with patience and empathy for toddlers' individual needs Ability to follow health guidelines related to childcare and caregiving standards Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for toddlers Knowledge of mandated reporting laws and procedures for child safety incidents Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where every child feels valued and supported!
