Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster early development, encourage curiosity, and promote positive social interactions. Responsibilities Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote infant development and early childhood learning. Provide attentive supervision and care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Support classroom management by maintaining organized routines, including feeding, diapering, nap times, and play sessions. Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily updates, milestones, and any concerns about their child's progress or needs. Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure a secure environment. Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive classroom that accommodates children with diverse needs or disabilities. Maintain accurate records of children's activities, developmental progress, and incident reports as required by mandated reporting laws. Skills Experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of child development instruction and childhood development principles. Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and familiarity with safety procedures for infants. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage children through nurturing caregiving techniques. Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and teamwork within the classroom environment. Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a plus. Pay:
$9.50 - $11.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
